Today I'm sharing an easy-peasy cardstock mini-album which uses 5 sheets of cardstock and ONE WHOLE 6x6 paper pad. I LOVE this "Summertime Picnic" paper collection by Craft O'Clock! An accordion book is a fun and easy way to showcase your 4th of July family traditions this year! Even if you have never made an accordion book or mini album, give this project a try. All you need is some cardstock, patterned paper, and a variety of good strong adhesives. And Xyron adhesives are perfect for this project!
Typically, we spend the majority of shaker card construction working on top of a cardstock panel. The "inside out" technique works with the actual card BASE during the whole construction, building the shaker down INSIDE the card. Do you ever notice that regular shaker cards are sometimes "top heavy"? You will see a big difference in the distribution of weight when you put the shaker INSIDE the card.
Today I am sharing an EASY Gatefold Card using the Diagonal Gatefold Card Die Set by Creek Bank Creations. I am totally addicted to this die set right now! It scores and cuts cardstock in one swipe to make the perfect fold-out card. AND, it fits inside an A2-sized envelope! #creekbankcreations #sandpaperroad #gatefoldcard
For this project, I am using the "Risen" stamp set from MayMay Made It. This project is SO easy to make, even for a beginner! Check out the full process...
