I continue to be inspired by the gorgeous African American stamps by Technique Junkies! I love the unique images, the versatility, and of course the red rubber stamp itself! Today, I’m sharing two card varieties I created using the “Boring Hair” stamp set by Technique Junkies and 2 different paper collections by Craft O’Clock.
This stamp is part of the July 2021 New Release from Technique Junkies. If you are interested in this stamp (or any others from techniquejunkies.com) use coupon code TJ10ERIN to save 10% off your order!
The first card I made was fairly simple. I stamped the image and colored it with the new tan Spectrum Noir 3-in-1 marker trio. I used the “Twinkle of Sunrise” patterned paper collection for the card panel, flower embellishments, and chipboard tag. And I adhered everything on an A2-sized card base.
For my second card, I stamped the image and colored it much the same way as the first card. This time, however, I stamped again after I colored it. I used the Enamel and Embossing Powder Fluid Dauber by Sweet Stamps/Piccolo to apply embossing ink only parts of the hair. Then, I added Enchanted Aubergine Enamel Powder also by Sweet Stamps/Piccolo to really give the hair a multi-colored, shimmery embossed boost!
I die cut my stamped embossed image with a “Label Rectangle Stitched Die” from Creek Bank Creations. The card panel and floral embellishments are all part of the “Plum in Chocolate” paper collection by Craft O’Clock.
I love using patterned paper and embellishments in my creations, and Craft O’Clock paper is my favorite. It is made in Poland, but you can find it in the USA at the Sandpaper Road Shop!
