Let’s make a cute and easy shaker card for Valentine’s Day!
Creating a shaker card can be easy!
I used a Waffle Flower Shaker Cover adhered around a 4” x 5-1/4” (10,1 cm x 13,3 cm) embossed card panel. After adhering three sides of the shaker cover, I gently poured in my shaker elements and then adhered the fourth side shut.

Then, I adhered the shaker “pouch” to a card base measuring 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” (10,6 cm x 13,8 cm). Using stitched rectangle nesting dies, I cut a frame from a piece of “Our Story” patterned paper which had been cut “just shy” of 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” (10,6 cm x 13,8 cm).
Our Story | 6×6
The Our Story Paper Collection by Craft O’Clock includes 18 double-sided sheets.
A light and airy wedding-themed collection designed to perfectly pair with your specific celebration colors. Pairs well with “Mood Paper Collections” also by Craft O’Clock.
SIX different designs (3 sheet of each) plus extra cut aparts on the back of the title sheet.
Each double-sided sheet = 6” x 6” or 15.25 cm x 15.25 cm.
Add cute elements!
I added two gnomes and the flower bouquet from the “In Love” Charming Extras to cut set. As a finishing touch, I added the “Love is the Answer” sentiment from a sheet of wedding/anniversary quotes.
In Love | Charming Extras Set
The “In Love” Charming Extras Set includes 12 DOUBLE-SIDED sheets.
SIX different designs (2 sheets of each).
Each double-sided sheet = 6″ x 12″ or 15.5 x 30.5 cm.
Quotes/Sentiments Sheet | Wedding/Anniversary
Quotes/Sentiments Sheets (“Wedding/Anniversary” theme) by Craft O’Clock includes 91 quotes and sentiments to cut! ONE 6″ x 12″ double-sided sheet with quotes on one side in Polish, on the other in English.
Stamp inside the card
I used a wooden block Valentine’s Day stamp from my stash for the inside sentiment. There’s something very satisfying about stamping with wooden-block rubber stamps and getting it straight (without any “helping” tools)! In the video, I admit I was a little apprehensive (as you can hear in my voice!).

Before I filmed my video tutorial, I also created a “practice” card, which you can see below.
Nice and easy and so cute!
