Today, I am sharing a simple card I made with the “Lighthouse on Cliff” stamp from Technique Junkies and “Sea Stories” paper by Craft O’Clock.

I have made a ton of lighthouse-stamping projects and my go-to idea is to color in the lighthouse and add some feature for the searchlight on top. But this time, I wanted the lighthouse to blend in a bit more.

I stamped the “Lighthouse on Cliff” image on vellum with VersaMark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. Then, I stamped the “Stir Your Soul” with VersaMark Ink and embossed in black.

I attached the vellum to a piece of patterned paper from the “Sea Stories” collection by Craft O’Clock. It’s easy to add liquid glue behind the white embossed stamped images, and then secure the corners with brads. The trick, however, is to wait to adhere the decorated card panel to the card base. This way, you don’t have to poke through the card base itself to add brads.

I finished off the card with metal corner embellishment stickers from my stash and a steering wheel fussy-cut embellishment from the “Sea Stories” paper collection.
