Card Inspiration | A Day In My Shoes | Sandpaper Road

Today I am sharing a lovely card project I created with patterned paper and two stamps. Simple and beautiful. I was thinking that this card would be lovely to send to someone as a “hello” card or a “thinking of you” card.

The finished card measures 6″ x 6″ (15,25 cm x 15,25 cm). I used one sheet of patterned paper from the “Summer Charm” paper collection by Craft O’Clock and stamped the “Wildflower Hiking Boots” stamp by Technique Junkies directly on the patterned paper. Then I colored in the stamped image with colored pencils.

I thought of using this patterned paper because the paper collection includes similar images of worn hiking boots, and I LOVE IT! I absolutely NEED to create a mini album with this paper and this stamp would be PERFECT to use for the cover!

As a final touch, I stamped the “World Reveals Itself” sentiment on vellum, embossed in white, and simply stapled it to the front of the card. It couldn’t be easier than that!

Don’t forget about your vellum! To see even more inspirational ideas for stamping on vellum, check out my video tutorial HERE:
