A baby girl keepsake to be cherished forever – a handcrafted mini-album as sweet as she is! Walk with me through this lovely gift album I created for my niece’s first baby using the “Sleep & Dream” paper collection by Craft O’Clock. kraft cardstock from my personal stash (65 lb.);

For the album base, I started with Cover #23 (Size Large) by Craft O’Clock. This cover paper is specially-treated long-length cover paper, designed to withstand the typical wear and tear of mini-albums over time. To the cover paper, I glued two chipboard pieces each measuring 8-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ (20,96 cm x 16,51 cm), and a spine chipboard piece measuring 3/4″ x 8-1/4″ (1,91 cm x 20,96 cm). I used kraft cardstock #65 to create the hinge binding and album pages.

I created a hinge-binding to accommodate four pages each measuring 8″ x 6″ (20,3 cm x 15,25 cm). Each of these four pages has a space for a page SIDE INSERT. These side inserts are just custom-cut sections of the large paper collection, which can be used as additional photo mats or as spaces for journaling.

Watch a walkthrough of the entire mini album in this short video.
Each of the four pages has unique folds, flaps and pockets. There is plenty of room for lots of photos, keepsakes, and memorabilia! I covered most of the pages with a variety of Basic Papers #1 set. This paper set serves as a nice backdrop for any kind of mini album or project. I was especially mindful of the fact that baby photos are often filled with lots of colors of their own, so I wanted to create a nice muted album base that wouldn’t overpower the photos to come.

I love this “Sleep and Dream” paper collection by Craft O’Clock! I used several elements from the collection including the fussy-cut elements from the Extras to Cut sheets, and the tags printed on the back of the packaging. I also used a few of the “Sweet Princess Quotes” that I had leftover from the Keepsake Baby Girl Envelope Mini Album I made a while back.

I know I’m 2 years late, but I was wondering if there is a printable pdf for this album.
Hi, Laurie. No, sorry, I just made this on the fly. I didn’t make a pdf for it. Sorry about that.
