I used the 8″ x 12″ (20,3 cm x 30,5 cm) size double-sided paper collection for this card. First, I chose one sheet of paper to use as the card base. It was easy to score the card into thirds and fold accordion-style. Each panel of the card measures 4″ x 8″ (10,16 cm x 20,32 cm).

The “belly band” for the card was created from a 1″ x 12″ (2,54 cm x 30,5 cm) piece of paper. I chose to fussy-cut the lace off two sheets of the “Our Story” paper and then attach them together.

I scored the long belly band piece with the following measurements:

4″ (10,16 cm);
4-1/8″ (10,48 cm);
8-1/8″ (20,64 cm);
8-1/4″ (20,96 cm).

This left me with a small fold allowance in the belly band as I created the rest of the card and added dimension. I taped the belly band closed and cut off the excess, saving it to create a small pocket inside the card for decorative tags.

I used more of the patterned paper from the collection to create photo mats inside the front and back middle panels of the card. Since this is an anniversary card, I thought it would be lovely to have a space for “then-and-now” photos of the anniversary couple.

I also cut and folded an envelope from the “Envelopes to Cut” sheet and adhered it inside the card. This makes the perfect place to hide a gift card, gift money or vacation tickets for the anniversary couple.

Here’s a look at the finished card! I added lots of embellishments from the “Extras to Cut” sheets, plus a simple bow on the front using a ribbon from my craft stash.
