Ah, the gift card. Easy to purchase… Easy to give… Easy to spend. This year, get creative with your gift card giving and try these cute and easy gift card “wrap” ideas!
Tuck a gift card inside a creative mini-envelope
I’m so addicted to my We R Memory Keepers – Envelope Punch Board right now. I love the fact that I can use double-sided paper and that I can create any size envelope I want. Plus you can decorate the front or slide it inside a larger card and send it in the mail.

I also love the double-sided “Envelopes to Cut” sheets from Craft O’Clock. These are 12″ x 12″ individual heavyweight cardstock sheets that coordinate with their paper collections, and they are absolutely beautiful. Most sheets come with 4 printed envelopes, and all you do is cut, fold and glue. Perfect every time and fits a gift card perfectly.

Create a pop-up card designed for gift cards:
My absolute favorite way to make a pop-up card is to use the pop-up card die from Creek Bank Creations. It is easy to use and makes such FUN cards! After you construct the pop-up card, you can use a Removable Glue Dot to temporarily adhere a gift card right to the pop-up part.

The Creek Bank Creations Pop-Up Card Die is discontinued, but you can watch the die in action in my video HERE.
Create a decoupage or mixed media gift card box from an empty candy tin:
Forget the little overpriced “gift-card-sized” metal tin that sits next to all the gift cards. Make your own creative tin and hide the gift card inside! Decoupage the outside with a little Mod Podge and some washi tape, tissue paper or even printed napkins. Or, create a mixed media art piece with the empty tin. A gift inside a gift!
