I have a confession: I absolutely LOVE to see inanimate objects with little faces on them. It completely cracks me up every time. So, when I saw this Punny Snacks Stamp Set I HAD to get it!
Watch the complete process video of this project HERE:
I started by using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp 3 of the food images and the sentiment onto #110 white cardstock. I decided to use my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform for the stamping to make sure they stamped perfectly.
Then, I colored in the images with alcohol markers. For this project, I used Spectrum Noir Markers. But, you could use whatever you have at home to color in the images (colored pencils, watercolors, gelatos, etc).
I had some stitched rectangle dies that I used to die cut the image. Then, I also cut out 4 stitched rectangles from a sheet of paper from the Wood Effect 12″ x 12″ Paper Pack by Moda Scrap. To create dimension, I used a few pieces of fun foam, and I adhered everything together with Scotch ATG 1/4″ Acid Free Refills. For an extra touch, I dragged Distress Oxide Ink in “Broken China” around the outside edges of the card with a blending tool.
Finally, using a bit of Ranger Multi Medium Matte, I added 2 sequins from the Caramel Latte Sequin Mix to either side of the sentiment.
