Sample Layouts Created From DIY Scrapbooking Kits

Today I want to share the projects I made with the paper I chose using the Sandpaper Road Formula™. This formula not only saves you money, but it saves you time, as well. Plus, it’s easy and foolproof, and there’s nothing to buy! You just pull from your stash! So check out these scrapbook pages and cards and be inspired!

This is the paper combination I chose (based on the Sandpaper Road Formula™). All the paper came from my stash [note: Links to products are included in this post. Some of these may be affiliate links]. img_2480

After I chose my papers, I made 4 scrapbook pages (12″x12″) and 6 top-folding, A2-sized cards, ALL IN ONE SITTING (except for the photos, which I will add later)!

The stamp set came from Creative Stamping Magazine (Issue 51). Although I also used stamps from the Tim Holtz Crazy Things stamp set as well.

For stamping the images, I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. And for coloring, I used Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.

It was really nice to have all my papers on hand, already chosen and coordinated. And because the Sandpaper Road Formula™ guides you to include white cardstock for stamping, creating card bases and matting photos, I didn’t have to go back through my cardstock when it was time to do stamping.

At the end of my craft time, I ended up with 6 cards and 4 scrapbook pages (sized 12″ x 12″). But, since I still had scraps leftover (and since I was still “in the zone”), I made a fifth 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page. In fact, I think that final layout is my favorite because I was just putting my odds and ends together and creating on a whim.
